These children to me are very normal, it is only their background that had harm them emotionally and some physically. These kids are very beautiful and a lot of them do have great personalities. They are very friendly only if you know how to open up to them and let them be comfortable to talk to you.
When I hangout with them I don't think of what happen to their past, but I look at the present person, a wonderful person that I can learn from. They taught me games and we all sing along on the bus ride together to xuoi tien. I enjoyed every minute hanging out with them. I want everyone to recognize the important of educating these young children to let them know that there are other options in life and not just what their parent told them. That "job" is not a way out, yes, it is quick and easy money, but it is not a way out to try to repay debt of any kind. I do hope people are aware that it is wrong and we need to do something about it. If everyone can be the voice and recognize the situation is wrong, then these children wouldn't be left damage. When I saw these children, that is when thing start to hit me. They are very short and small, and with beautiful face, but their story will bring tears to your eyes.
The laughter of these kids was very precious and very memorable. it had left a foot print in my heart. Please continue to help be the voice and pray for these children.

Every year, Father Martino leads a mission trip entitles “Lend a Hand” - This year the trip begins on Jan 3 and will ends on January 15! There are 13 young professionals from US and Canada – pay their own way and taking their two weeks vacations to be on the trip – including three members of One Body Village’s Board of Directors. Nga Vu, MD; Young Hoang, PhD; and Pham Tiffany, MSW! Father Martino continuously repeat the purpose of the mission: “When you are on the mission with me – you don’t do a lot!! I want you to open yourselves, watch, listen, see and learn! The DOINGS begin when you return to the US!” so you can talk about it and do with passion to be the VOICE and the HAND of these children being sold/forced into sex slavery!

Cha Thông luôn lặp đi lặp lại một điều: "Khi tham gia hành trình sứ mạng cùng Cha - các con đừng làm gì nhiều! Cha muốn chính các con hãy nhìn - nghe - chứng kiến - và học hỏi! Việc "LÀM" hãy bắt đầu khi các con trở về đất nước! Khi đó, hãy nói và làm với cả tâm huyết để trở thành TIẾNG NÓI và BÀN TAY cho các trẻ em bị bán/bị bắt ép làm nô lệ tình dục!"
